  1. Numara Track-It!Self Service Work Orders for Technology KCPS Staff are now able to submit their own work orders for technology assistance as needed.

  2. About the Work Order Process • To receive timely assistance, complete the form accurately and provide as much information as possible. • Be certain the correct contact information (school/building & phone number) are entered on the form. • After submission, allow 48 business hours for a response from the assigned technician. If no response or communication has been received, contact the KCPS HelpDesk (helpdesk@kcmsd.net or ext. 7888).

  3. Logging In Step 1: Double click this icon on your desktop. • Step 2: If you see a window like this, enter your Windows credentials. (Same as logging into computer or email.) • Step 2:If you see a window like this, click “Log in using your Windows account.” or

  4. Add a New Work Order • Step 4: Click “Add a New Work Order” to begin your request. • Step 3: • Note any new announcements – • Work Order Priorities: • Most issues will require a “Standard” priority. Choose responsibly.

  5. Complete the form • Step 5: Complete each field accurately. Summary: Building name and brief summary Call Back Number: Automatically generated; Check for accuracy Priority: Use scale at right of screen – most will be “Standard” Type: Choose appropriate type Subtype:Choose appropriate subtype Category:Choose appropriate action or category **See Types/Subtypes/Categories listing if unsure. Note:Building Room/office # Phone #, with voicemail access Availability/Schedule District Tag # of item Computer name (from System properties) Details of issue Attach a document if necessary (ie. screen shot of error) • Step 6: Click Submit.

  6. Submission Confirmation • Step 7: After submission, this confirmation screen will appear. Take note of the Work Order # and check information for accuracy.

  7. My Work Orders • From the home screen click on “View my Work Orders.” • View and track your work orders from this screen. • Click on the Work Order ID # to view details of the work order. • You are then able to add a note, add an attachment, cancel the work order, or print the work order.
