  5. 2019 B.S. in Environmental Studies • Restricted electives concentrations (Sciences and Values, Planning, and Policy) have become formal Tracks (Sciences and Communication and Planning) • PSC 1121 (Physical Science) group requirement in ES Core has been removed • EVR 3450 (Interdisciplinary Research Methods for Environmental Studies) requirement has been added to ES Fundamentals • IDS 3150 (Foundations of Environmental Studies) and IDS 4893 (Capstone in Environmental Studies) have updated prefixes to EVR 3150 and EVR 4893 • Courses allowed in restricted electives slightly broader than previous year

  6. 2018 B.S./B.A.in Interdisciplinary StudiesIDS Core + Minor is required for this degree + TWO different IDS Areas of Study These are University Graduation Requirements GEP waived with AA degree earned from a Florida public college/state college *Courses being utilized in your General Education Program cannot overlap or be used in your Areas of Study or Minor Students pick and choose classes for their IDS Areas from the IDS Approved course list with the aid of an advisor. U/L = Upper level (3000/4000 level)

  9. 2019 B.A. in IDS – Diversity Studies Track • Retains the IDS Core – IDS 3933 (IDS Cornerstone) and IDS 4934 (IDS Capstone) • Retains the requirement for a minor but expands options beyond Women’s and Gender Studies to include: Africana Studies, American Indian Studies, American Studies, Anthropology in Multicultural Studies, Asian Studies, Cultural Anthropology, Diversity and Social Inequality, Global Peace and Security Studies, Global Sociology, Humanities and Cultural Studies, International and Global Studies, Judaic Studies, Latin American Area Studies, Mass Culture and Collective Behavior, Middle Eastern Studies, Religion and Cultural Studies, World Comparative Studies • Replaces TransGRaSS Cognate Area (15 hrs) with Theories of Diversity (12 hrs) • Replaces IDS Area (15 hrs) with Experiences and Representations of Diversity(18 hrs) • Retains Program Exit requirements (15 hrs Upper-Level and 15 hrs UCF)

  11. 2019 Bachelor of Integrative General Studies • Brand new degree program for 2019 • Students must have a minimum of 75 hrs earned to declare in to this program • Students must fulfill all degree requirements and complete B.I.G.S. Core consisting of LDR 3115 and IDS 4939 • LDR 3115 (Contemporary Issues in Leadership) is designed to help students in this major define and apply leadership and civic engagement concepts, practices, and theories to their community or to the environment in which they live or serve professionally • IDS 4939 (Senior Seminar) is the capstone course for this major, enabling students to integrate undergraduate experiences, prepare professional engagement, and produce a culminating project
