4. MIT Moms Dear Whitney and Kerstine, This semester has been such a memorable experience, a lot of that is because of the two of you. We know if took a lot of hard work and preparation to make it a fun and meaningful MIT semester. We are all very happy that we joined Gamma Sig, because we have met so many new people thanks to you. We learned a lot about Gamma Sig , especially with our quizzes. We know the whole thing took a lot of hard work and time out of your already busy days. 6. Most Helpful Active Dear Megan Cartwright, You have been so friendly and outgoing that it has been easy to come to you with questions. Thanks for being there every meeting so we were able to sign up for service projects and get interviews. You are so organized with that binder full of our service hours. We appreciate you always keeping us up to date on our service hours, and working with us when certain projects didn’t work with our schedule. 9. Melissa, Well my pledge semester has almost come to an end. Although it has been long and sometimes stressful, we got through it together. 11. Hey Big!!! I just wanted to let you know that you are awesragious Even though you could not make it on the night I was supposed to meet you, I forgive you lol because I talked to you later that night on Facebook and we had an instant connection! We think a lot of the same things and say a lot of the same words, which is a little freaky, but hey that’s us :P All of our wonderful conversations on facebook always made me laugh because we would get slap happy late at night and just ramble to each other about life…and let’s not forget the time you told me to lie…ahh good times, good times. You always seem to listen to me when I am having problems with my life, especially my guy life because...BOYS ARE STUPID!!! And you concur! I greatly appreciate you paying for my dinner at Pasta House even though that was completely unnecessary. I also liked our bonding time while working on the float for homecoming! 12. Casey and Angela I feel like I am the luckiest MIT because not only did I get an awesome Big Sis, but I ended up with TWO!!! I was so nervous about being a senior and pledging Gamma Sig, but you guys have made this semester amazing! You welcomed me with open arms and have made everything so comfortable for me. You are always volunteering to help me with whatever I need and I know I can count on you both for anything. Both of you are beautiful, not only on the outside but on the inside too. I appreciate everything that you have done for me this semester. You guys have made it flow with ease and so much fun. I am so blessed to have made one of the best decisions I could have—joining Gamma Sig. Even though we only have the rest of the school year together, there is one thing that won’t ever change. 13. To My Big, Allie I had a great pledge semester and it was great having you as my big! Knowing you before you were my big made it wonderful not to have to get to know you all over again! I know that both of us had very busy semesters which made it difficult for us to hang out often but I look forward to hanging out with more good times in the future! 17. Dear Tanya, You are the best Big Sis ever. We had so much fun together. I remembered when you gave me the secret gifts; I felt that my big sis is someone I knew before. I enjoyed your “home-made” cookies (I found out you bought them in Wal-Mart). The cards you gave to me are very cute, and I put all of them on my desk. Well, the pledge interview book is little bit smaller than others’, but as you said, it’s special, so I like it. We went to Jimmy John’s for lunch one day which was your first time (cannot believe). Then a flamingo and a school girl had fun in the Halloween party. We took a lot of pictures, and I hung them all over my apartment. We had a “date” at Texas Roadhouse, and watched “The Ugly Truth” on the next day. In the formal review, I was so nervous. You put your hand on my shoulder and told me that it would be fine. And thank you for coming to my Mickey Mouse birthday party and our Thanksgiving dinner. I am so happy that you are my big sister in Gamma Sig and my American family; even you are younger than me. I enjoyed our sharing time, and your advice was very helpful. You are such a sweet sister! Love you,Angela

18. Dear Stefanie, This semester as an M.I.T. has been one heck of a ride. I am so thankful for the gifts that you gave to me in the beginning as well as the gifts along the way; that really raised my spirits and kept me moving through. I really enjoyed all of the time we got to spend together, I know it wasn’t a lot but hopefully in the future we can get to know each other a lot more. During my freshman year at Southeast I was unsure if I would join a sorority. During my sophomore year I finally found my place in Gamma Sigma Sigma. Thank you for being so supportive and welcoming. You guys made my Pledge semester so easy and enjoyable. I knew if I ever had a question that I could come to you guys, and you would help me. 20. Miss Ashley, This semester thankfully started off to a great start, all thanks to Gamma Sig and my wonderful Big. Without you this semester I don’t think I would have been brave enough to try “the college life.” Without you knowing it, you have made me more outgoing for sure. 22. Dear Heather, From the time I first met you I knew you were going to be a wonderful Big Sis! It has been wonderful getting to know you and hanging out. Whether it was helping me study or just chatting you have always been there for me. You are such a sweet and caring person. You have been so helpful throughout my M.I.T. experience and have definitely helped make it wonderful! I also enjoyed the gifts you gave me and appreciate them. 23. Dear Erin, I’m so glad I joined gamma sig and you were my big. The gifts you gave me were awesome, and you were always there if I needed any advice and what not. It sucks that we were not able to get as close with both of us having hectic schedules this semester. Hopefully we can change that soon. 24. Dear Gooch, I'm so glad that I can be your rebel child – you're the best single mom ever! 25. Sandy, What can I say about you?! …. You were an amazing big sister and a wonderful person. Every time I see you, you have a smile on your face. It was so nice of you to always try and include me in things, even if they weren’t Gamma Sigma Sigma related. You were always willing to help me study for quizzes, and help me set up interviews for my interview book. I regret that we didn’t get to hang out as much as I would have liked, (this semester was crazy busy) but I really look forward to doing so in the coming semester. 27. Dear Sami, Thanks for being such an awesome Big Sis! Gamma Sigma Sigma has been the highlight of my semester and I’m so glad that you were a part of that with me. When I found out you were my Big Sis, I was really excited. I mean, who could make a better Big Sis for me than another English major. J All the gifts you got me were so great. The chocolate chip cookies were delicious! The picture frame is beautiful and I’m terrible at printing out pictures, but eventually, I’m going to print out the picture of us from the Alumni BBQ on homecoming and put that in there. I love my pin box, which you painted my two favorite colors! My MIT interview book is amazing! I always get compliments on it when I ask someone for an interview and they always ask who my Big Sis, and I get to say “Sami” and everyone always says how great you are. I’m so lucky to have a Big Sis that everyone thinks is so great and respects so much.
