Construction and establishing of a Center for Autism and Early Diagnostics in BiH Location:Settlement Bukinje, Municipality Tuzla, Tuzla Canton, Bih Project objective: To strengthen the capacity of public health in Canton Tuzla and the whole BiH through the construction and equipping of a an institution enabled for the provision of early diagnosis for all disorders and treatment of children / people with autism. Sarajevo, SBF 2014

Construction and establishing of a Center for Autism and Early Diagnostics in BiH Background:- Tuzla Canton the most populated in BiH- No such institution in BiH - Existance of other corelated institutions- Signed MOU between: Tuzla Canton, Municipality Tuzla and Hilfswerk Austria International (HWA)- Signed Contract for the project co- funding between Tuzla Canton and HWA Sarajevo, SBF 2014

Construction and establishing of a Center for Autism and Early Diagnostics in BiH Key characteristics and advantages of the project: • The institution will be a referent center in BiH and will have a strong positive impact on the social health system and quality of life of families with disabled (autistic) persons (children). • Early diagnosis and intervention improves and saves lives of children. • Improvement of the investor brand image and CSR (Corporate Social responsibility) position in BiH as a new market, in context of social engagement. Construction and establishing of a Center for Autism and Early Diagnostics in BiH Budget of expected investment – total investment • Phase 1 – construction and equipment (704 m2 net area) - About 582.000 EUR where: • Tuzla Canton allocated - 300.000 KM or 153.388 EUR (Contract signed) • Municipality Tuzla allocated in kind contribution (land plot, infrastructure connections, approvals, etc.) – 102.258 EUR (Tripartite MOU signed) • Missing for Phase 1 from other donors about - 326.354 EUR • Phase 2: - education and training and putting the center in function • missing for the Phase 2- 105.200 EUR for 12 months Sarajevo, SBF 2014

Construction and establishing of a Center for Autism and Early Diagnostics in BiH Technical data: Reconstruction, redesign, adoptation and modernized of an existing old building and construction of a connected new building Number of floors: Bas.+P+1 Dimensions: Max. horizontal of the existing building – appr. 26x15 m, New building appr. 16*12m Sida facade Building facilites: Basement – boiler room and storages Ground floor – daily center with kitchen and dining room, spaces for work with beneficiaries, diagnostic center First floor – officees and sleeping rooms New buidling (only ground floor) – classrooms, workshops, consulting room Sarajevo, SBF 2014
