  1. You said ....... We did

  2. During 2013We undertook a listening exercise to understand how to make your programme better for youThe following information is what we heard and also what we’ve done

  3. You said....... • Your timetable wasn’t clear and changed regularly • Your modules were being delivered very differently and there was no consistency particularly around assessment • You needed help with scholarly skills early in the academic year • You needed to be listened to and you didn’t have a voice • Your practice placement experiences were so varied and the OAR was difficult to use • You couldn’t always get the help you needed and we didn’t always seem ready to listen ............................

  4. We did....... • We’ve standardised your timetable, we pledge not to change it unless we have to and we will tell you with as much notice as possible • We’ve standardised the way modules are delivered, including the format of information provided, the use of Blackboard and this includes a new assessment strategy • We’ve set up a scholarly skills plan which will be delivered for you early in the academic year • We’ve set up a student engagement team to help us listen to you and we plan to improve the way we use our subject committee to give you all a voice • We’ve simplified, as much as we can, your practice documentation • We’ve spent a lot of time planning your tutorial support groups, how we give you feedback and our support mechanisms for students on the programme ............................

  5. National Student Survey Results for 2013 What you said we did well…..
