RCO Training for UKVS • RCOphth New Curriculum • Yearly work based assessments of doctors history taking – communication, empathy sensitive to service users • Exams communication skills formally assessed by lay examiner • Role of ophthalmologist in NHS and MDT • Public Health curriculum being developed • Dept of Health e-learning curriculum should be accessible to wider work force
