Return and go over ch. 1-11 TKAM Quizzes Turning Topics into Research Questions [must get my approval for both topics!] Read TKAM (ch. 12-17) and/or work on units 9 & 10 of vocabulary workbooks HOMEWORK: Read ch. 12-17 of TKAM and answer all appropriate SG questions Units 9-10 of vocab workbook due on Friday [quiz will have M.U.G.S. questions TODAY Rough weekend for the Cavs: Lost by 20 to Raptors then blow a lead against the Kings.

  2. Choosing a Topic Question Keep in mind that you are expected to come up with a question that you will be willing to spend HOURS of time researching. Choose something that interests you! Your topic needs to be something specific, but also something that you will be able to find resources for. All topics will be approved/REJECTED by me.

  3. TopicQuestionThesis Topic: Social Network Sites Question: Do the cons of social networks sites like Facebook and MySpace outweigh the pros? The next step would be to take your research and develop a thesis about this questions where you clearly argue something specific about what you have discovered. EXAMPLE: Because information posted on social network websites like Facebook and MySpace often causes people to be looked over by potential employers and has even been used as evidence against defendants in court, these sites should be used with caution or even totally avoided.
