Vision – do we agree? • The Skills & Learning for London Partnership exists to actively support providers, through collaboration, to influence and respond to changes in government policy and funding of learning post 14 and beyond.
Vision – do we agree? • The partnership is an independent forum, which will bring together a wide range of providers from all sectors to provide networking, sharing ideas, promoting learning, skills development, increasing opportunities and adding value.
The key aims of the SLLP are tosupport providers to work together to: • Influence and respond as a group to government initiatives • Access funding to provide high quality learning and skills development • Share ideas to raise the attainment of their learners • Share information on best practice in developing skills and employability of their learners • Review and supporting quality review and access regulation of learning provision of the partners
The above will be achieved through: • Providing an independent platform for providers and key strategic partners to collaborate and provide coherent provision; • Effective communication and sharing of good practice between providers and strategic partners • Facilitating joint developments between providers and strategic partners • Stimulating innovative collaborative developments • Providing a range of services to support providers and strategic partners
