THE DESERT. By Seth Dever. The desert is home to many animals. Like the rainbow lizard,scorpion,and the armidillo. The adaptions for the rainbow lizard are……. They use their scales as armor.It can spot enimies from a mile away with it’s eyes.It can change colors to hide away from predators.

  2. The desert is home to many animals. Like the rainbow lizard,scorpion,and the armidillo

  3. The adaptions for the rainbow lizard are……. • They use their scales as armor.It can spot enimies from a mile away with it’s eyes.It can change colors to hide away from predators.

  4. For the armidillo • It has tough scales of bone and horn to protect itself from predators.It has strong claws for burrowing and digging.It has long ears and a pointed snout that is used to foarge food.

  5. For the scorpion • It has legs that go so fast so it can catch its food.It’s tail has a sack of posion on the end that stuns or kills it’s attacker when it eats it.It uses it’s claws to hunt.

  6. The majior vegatation in the desert is cati. • Cati have thick trunks to store more water.It has spikes to keep animals from eating it.It has sevral roots surrounding so it can get more water.It gets carbon dioxide to do photosynthisys.It has a flexible stem so it can grow during heavy rains to get more water.

A negative impact. • A negative impact on the desert is,people have been gold mining in the desert.People have been building homes and roads,destroying the habitats for animals in the desert.Farmers have been ranching which takes away habitats in that area.People have been destroying trees to make paper.People have been damming up rivers for irrigation to make their plants grow so the life in the river on the part that rarely got any water died.

  9. A positive impact. • People are cleaning up trash so it doesn't get polluted.People are supposed to travel quietly through the desert so they don’t disturb the wildlife.People are trying to preserve some areas on the desert.People have been making many things to help with animals like sheep.People have been using their smart wits instead of their wants they use their needs.
