  3. What we will be doing? • Lots of activities- experiments, discussing • Fun Stuff- movies, games • Technology- researching, animations, Webquests, communication • Preparation for Gr. 9-12 Science- base of knowledge and skills

Student Expectations • Eat well, get enough sleep, exercise regularly, come to class everyday • Raise your hands to answer a question, listen when others speak, speak English • Do not cheat or copy others work • Follow the lab safety rules-Be careful in the classroom • Come to class everyday ready to learn and help others learn • Try your best to complete all homework • Keep the classroom and the school clean • Be active in helping others, organizing activities and participating in school events • Use technology as a tool to help you learn- no surfing, chatting, texting during class

Classroom Routine 1) Say Hello/ Good Morning/ Good Afternoon to me when you enter class 2) Go to your seat and quietly work on today’s activity, review yesterday’s, lesson or vocabulary 3) If you need to leave your seat ( get supplies, sharpen pencils, bathroom)please raise your hand and ask permission 4) Write Homework into agenda The classroom must be clean and tidy before you leave 5) Say Goodbye to me when you leave class
