REQUIRED ACTIVITIES • twice weekly dictations – forms A and B • twice/thrice weekly response journals • bimonthly recitations = songs, chants, poems • frequent listening homework • frequent speaking homework
THIRD DIGRESSION • School-wide topic = FOOD • Suitable for (almost) every grade and for French and German, too • Plan to incorporate the following inputs appropriately during the year • Involve the students as much as possible
ASSIGNMENT • At your grade level, collaboratively work out units (R/P &I/M) to share on Sept. 1st and 2nd with all the foreign language teachers • Plan to use displays and bulletin boards on this topic throughout the year
