  5. The Apostle Paul tells us to, “consider Abraham, he believed God & it was credited to him as righteousness (Galatians 3:6). James said that Abraham was “afriend of God.” (James 2:23b).

The Bible says, “Later on God tested Abraham’s faith & obedience. “Abraham!” God called. “Yes,” he replied. “Here I am.” “Take your son, your only son--yes, Isaac, whom you love so much--& go to the land of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains, which I will point out to you.” (Genesis 22:1-2).

  16. The Bible says, “Isaac said, “Father?” “Yes, my son,” Abraham replied. “We have the wood & the fire,” said the boy, “but where is the lamb for the sacrifice?” “God will provide a lamb, my son,” Abraham answered & they both went on together.” (Genesis 22:7-8).
