Flat Stanley was at Dozier Elementary in Erath. He went on a field trip with Ms. Stacy’s 2nd Grade Class.

First Stanley met our Policemen at the Erath Police Station.

Next Stanley sat by the “Special” Firemen’s bell at the Fire Station.

Then Stanley went with the class to the City Hall and Post Office.

Stanley learned about the time capsule buried at the City Hall. It will be opened in 2024.

The class had several packages to mail at the post office. The class talked about the money and mailed the packages off.

Taylor Abshire is looking at August Erath’s picture, the founder of Erath.

Then Stanley visited the Erath City Hall. This is where the Mayor and Town Council have their meetings.

Laura and Ross Bares' great, great uncle Joe Brown was one of the 8 men who died when Hurricane Hilda hit. He was a Town Councilman.

Everyone looked at the 8 men who died during Hurricane Hilda’s visit.

Stanley sat in Mayor George Dupuis’ chair!

Stanley and the class then stopped by our new library.

Then Stanley went to the Acadian Museum. He saw old things and the Cajun things.

He visited the Erath Room!

Our last place to visit was the Bank of Erath.

Stanley's ended up back at home Dozier!

Stanley is so tired from his Erath Field Trip that he is ready to rest.
