  1. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and ISO 22000 Hand in Hand OHSAS 18001, which is an Occupational Health and Safety Management system, was created so they are easily used in conjunction with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. These are both management standard as well, which means they can be more easily work with other environmental and occupational health and safety management systems than if a completely different standard was created and used. All organizations can uses these standards together without having to fully revamp their health and safety regulations. OHSAS was designed to aid companies and organizations in effectively controlling health and safety risks that may arise. Furthermore, this standard helps create more efficiency on the workplace as well, so everyone is able to stay on track with his or her tasks, complete the tasks well, and do them safely. There are a few other similarities between OHSAS 18001 and ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. All of these three standards have protocols that include keeping structure and responsibility in the workplace running smoothly – proper training, being aware of your tasks and surroundings at all time, and being fully competent on the job link these standards together. Additionally, being able to control documents correctly, maintaining proper records, partaking in action to prevent mistakes and correcting mistakes when they happen, doing internal audits, and having management reviews all play a very important role in these three standards. They all work in relation to one another so safety and health is fully covered in the workplace.. If we now look at ISO 22000, this is an international standard for food safety. All companies are required to follow this set of safety standards so they can confidently make sure their food products are being made in a safe and healthy manner. Following these rules and guidelines makes sure a food production company is creating the absolute highest quality food products. If companies do not follow these standards, the safety of the food could be compromised. If food is contaminated with harmful substances, it could have detrimental consequences for the people consuming those foods and for the company producing those foods. ISO 22000 combats any of those potential issues through its strict guidelines and rules. ISO 22000 was designed specifically so it could work alongside other ISO and safety standards as well, like with ISO 9001, 14001, and OHSAS 18001.
