  2. What is biomass? • Biomass is anything you can burn to create thermal energy. • Biomass is grass, wood, crops, etc.

  3. Is biomass renewable? • Yes biomass is renewable because you can keep grow stuff if you have seeds.

  4. Where is it found? • Biomass is found everywhere where you can grow trees, plant crops, or find animal waste.

  5. How do we use it? • We use biomass to create thermal energy

  6. How do we make the heat? • We make the thermal energy by burning the biomass.

  7. How will this effect us? • This will help us by helping us make heat more efficiently • When we burn biomass, it makes a horrible stench.

  8. Fast Fact • You can also burn trash, but it makes a stench that can be smelled from miles away!

  9. Why this is the best energy source • Biomass is the best because it is renewable and it can be found all around the world.
