PEACE, THE PREVAILING CONCERN. • Defeatism, the Romans were a powerful force to recon with in the culture. • Disunityamong the body of Christ on how to go about the issues at hand. • Distractionsabound with so much to do, so little resources to do it and so few helpers. • Depression, no peace within, no peace in their worldview and no hope of peace, they lost all hope.

  2. PEACE, THE PREVAILING CONCERN. Philippians 4:6-9 (NKJV) 6  Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7  and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
