MAJCOMInspection Governance • Why? • The MAJCOM/HQ should establish an effective and efficient battle rhythm to: • continually evaluate Wing CCIP effectiveness • identify and track action items for MAJCOM/HQ and Wing action • identify potential action items for HAF consideration • ensure the upcoming inspection schedule meets the Commander’s needs

MAJCOM Inspection Governance • How? • Wg CCIP effectiveness via UEI Continual Eval • minimal impact to Wings • Identify and track action items via Quarterly Inspection Working Group (QIWG) • monitor the efficiency & effectiveness of command’s inspection system • give CCs & Directors an opportunity to review major issues, reduce road blocks, increase resolution paths & synchronize priorities

  4. MAJCOMInspection Governance • Ensure Inspections meet Commander’s need via Semi-Annual Inspection Council (SAIC) • review QIWG results • review potential action items for HAF/SAF consideration • review current and future schedules • venue to gain MAJCOM vector

MAJCOMGovernance Structure • Quarterly Inspection Working Group (QIWG): • Chaired by MAJCOM/IG • Attended by AFFOR & Special Staff Deputies, Wg/IGs (VTC) • Semi-Annual Inspection Council (SAIC): • Chaired by MAJCOM/CV • Attended by AFFOR & Special Staff Directors, Wg/CCs (VTC) • Begins first full quarter after MAJCOM deemed UEI capable • QIWG – all four quarters • SAIC – Fall & Spring
