PHYSICAL EDUCATION 9th Grade Requirement • Two marking periods of physical education. • Required Fitness Course • Safe use of the equipment • Review and prepare for 10th grade fitness assessment. • Develop and work toward short and long term fitness goals. • One Elective Course • Pickleball, Pilates, Yoga, Team Games, Golf, Tennis, Badminton, Ultimate Frisbee

  14. GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS 43 Credits Required • Most full-year five-day-a-week courses earn two credits. • To earn credit in a course, a student must • Receive a passing grade and • Have good attendance

Transition Timeline Early February: (this week) 8th grade students receive a copy of the Program of Studies Middle School Counselors distribute Course Selection form with academic teacher recommendations to 8th grade students High School Counselors visit Middle Schools to discuss course offerings (7th and 10th) Next week: (February 11th -18th) Students select electives in Infinite Campus Mid - February: (week of February 21st) A final Course Verification form, listing all the recommended and requested courses, will be sent home. This form requires both student and parent signatures. March 17th Final Course verification sheets due back to Middle School Counselor
