  2. What’s For Lunch? TODAY: Rotini with Meat Sauce, WW Roll, OR Chicken Filet WG Bun, Tossed Green Salad, Green Beans, Sweet Potato Coins, Veggie Trio, Squash, Fruit, Fresh Fruit and Milk. Wednesday: Rotini with Meat Sauce, WW Roll, or Chicken Filet WG Bun, Tossed Green Salad, Green Beans, Sweet Potato Coins, Lemon Raspberry SideKicks, Fruit, Fresh Fruit, and Milk.

  3. WWCHS Blood Drive • WWCHS HOSA will be sponsoring a blood drive on Thursday, October 9, 2014, from 8:00 – 3:00 in Mrs. Fritts room. Anyone interested in donating must be 16 or older and weigh at least 110 lbs. • Students who are 16 must have a signed parent permission form. Pick up from Mrs. Fritts. • All students must sign up with Mrs. Fritts in room 710 • Students who sign up by October 8th will receive a breakfast biscuit the morning of the drive.

  4. Senior Portraits • Seniors, don’t forget to turn in your yearbook pose selection slip to Mrs. Kalla. • Choose one casual and one formal. • Senior Portrait Bonus: • Gambrell Photography will include a bonus item in your portrait package if you turn in your order to Mrs. Kalla by TODAY. • Checks payable to Gambrell Photography

  5. MRS.CALLAWAY • FCCLA members interested in working on the Homecoming float need to meet Mrs. Callaway after school TODAY, September 30th.  • We should be finished around 5:00.

  6. Homecoming Parade! • Theme: Real Tigers Wear BLUE AND GOLD • Thursday, October 2nd • Line up at Pope Center @ 5pm • Parade starts at 6pm

  7. Homecoming Dance Key Club is sponsoring the 2014 Homecoming Dance. Tickets are on SALE during lunch TODAY – Wednesday, October 1st(or see Mrs. Moon in the Media Center) Tickets are $5 each. We must sell at least 75 tickets to have the dance.

  8. Spirit Week: • Tuesday: Tacky Tuesday • Wednesday: Nike Day • Thursday: Class Colors Day • Seniors: Black • Juniors: White • Sophomores: Blue • Freshmen: Red • Friday: Blue and Gold Day

  9. WWMS- WWCHS BookFair October 6th –October 10th High School Students are welcome to shop the bookfair during their lunch time ONLY!

  10. Washington-Wilkes TigerHoodies The WWCHS FBLA is selling Washington-Wilkes Tiger Hoodies. The profit from the fundraiser will help to support the WWCHS FBLA. Deadlines: orders must be received by October 3. Sweatshirts will be back by October 15. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Harkins in Room 708.

  11. Tiger Yearbook Staff Meeting • This Week: Tuesday and Friday • After school until 4:00 • Room 706 • We will select the theme • See Mrs. Kalla to sign up for spirit week photography

  12. Washington-Wilkes Tiger Hoodies • Sweatshirts are Royal Blue with gold lettering. • The sweatshirts are $25 each for sizes Youth Small - Adult XL.  Adult 2X - 5X are available at $27 each. • Make checks payable to WWCHS FBLA with Sweatshirt in memo line.

  13. Mr. Atkinson: • FFA T-Shirts are on sale for $10. See Mr. Atkinson to order. Orders are due by TODAY. (See next slide)

  15. Game Day “Shout Outs” Have a relative or dear friend in band, on the cheerleading squad, or on the football team that you want to congratulate? Do you have a favorite coach and/or band director/personnel that you want to applaud? Want to show your special Tiger how much you appreciate their hard work and dedication? Well, Game Day “Shout Outs” are just what you need! During home football games, purchase a Shout Out, and a special message will be delivered to your favorite Tiger. Messages will be read over the loud speaker throughout the game.   The messages should be a congratulatory/well wish to your friend or relative. Messages should be no longer than 15 words long, and/or cannot exceed the space provided on the request form. Messages are subject to approval and will not be delivered if not approved. Messages can be purchased as follows from Ms. Wilburn or a WWCHS Football Cheerleader: For the season--$20, to include playoff games; Per Game--$5.00.  Thank you for supporting our Tigers!

  16. Administrative Detention: • Administrative detention will be held with Mrs. Mickens in room 603.
