  6. Vietnam participe to the AFACT/UNCEFACT • In April 2001 Viet Nam became the 14th member country to join AFACT, represented by the Ministry of Science, Technology and the Environment (MOSTE). AFACT is a on forum of UN/CEFACT in the region. • The granting of focal point status is a favorable condition for Vietnam to participate in AFACT and UN/CEFACT’s working groups and conferences and be listed in exchange activities andintegration programs of the region and the world.

  14. VnCES-TC 154 Executive VNCES would play an intermediary role of between national E-services developers and the international bodies concerned with data standards development. VNCES does not interfere with or duplicate the work of others. It will support trade facilitation, E-business and E-government (E-services) by providing a common forum or focal point for information exchange on international data standards.
