  3. Linking the Compact to NI7 The Norfolk Compact is integral to Norfolk’s NI7 Local Area Agreement Action Plan. It‘s three main objectives are: • Strong partnership arrangements across the county + opportunities to influence decision-making • Sustainable funding opportunities and relationships (contracts and grants) are in place • Effective support available from third sector generalist and specialist infrastructure organisations. Each of these specifically refers to the Norfolk Compact, applying its principles and undertakings  

  4. Linking the Compact to NI7 The West Sussex Compact Implementation Groupis the responsible partnership for NI7 work. Their NI7 action plan, strongly compact linked, is supported by a Compact worker, and covers: • Policy development • Productive relationships • Developing funding opportunities • Capacity building and organisational development • Promotion

  5. Polling • Indicate the direction your Compact is going in • Discuss the results, use them as prompts • Compare results with other areas

  6. Champions • Promote, raise awareness, build understanding • Effective Championing is key to improving Compact performance • Champions mush have support, training and direction
