Statistics • IN THE UNITED STATES: 33.5% of high school graduates obtain a bachelor’s degree (Source: Pew Research Center) • IN TEXAS: 26% of Texas high school graduates obtain a bachelor’s degree (Source: Kids Count, Annie E. Casey Foundation) • CLASS OF 2011: 52.1% of Texas high school graduates enrolled in college, but only 24.6% enrolled in a 4-year institution (Source: Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board)
