  4. History • Acting President Tim Hynes assembled and charged the committee March 2007. • Julia Chibbaro and I agreed to co-chair the committee for purposes of strategic planning. • We met almost once a week in March and April. • We met last week and will meet again a few more times this summer.

  5. Process • Review Old Goals • Conduct SWOT Analysis • Create an Inventory of Key Ideas • Incorporate USG Strategic Plan • Draft New Goals • New Planning Document to Include Implementation and Assessment Requirements

  6. Current Status • Critique, SWOT, Inventory “Complete” • Analysis of USG • First Draft of New Goals

  7. Next Steps • Conduct Campus-Wide Planning Retreat • Fall Presentations to Campus • Documents to the Faculty Senate (October) • Core – Planning for Growth / New Version • Majors – CPR, Review of Program Health
