  2. I investigated: • Which possible customers are there still to gain in the Windturbine industry?(Blade, Nacelles, Moulds ect.) • And what are the potential for each possible customer?

  3. How do they produce parts? • All Nacelles and small blades is produced with double mould + vacuum injectionThis method is used by approximately 80% of the previous mentioned customers.

  4. The largest problem for these customers • The lagest problems for these customers was Styren build-up, sticking and mat surface. Styren build-up Sticking Mat surface

  5. With what product can we solve these problems...... • .... And gain these customers? • Product for the Male mould • CL 712 EZ • CL 15 EZ • CL 75 • Product for the Female mould (Gelcoate side) • CL 15 EZ • CL 2172

  6. How to solve the problems • Did a Start-up test with fine results and established a n application guide.(See the following slides)

  7. Guide - Internal environment • Equipment

  8. Guide - Cleaning the Mould with Mould Cleaner EZ • Clean 2 times with clean cotton cloths

  9. Guide - Polishing the mould • Secure the best base

  10. Guide - Cleaning mould with Mould Cleaner EZ • Clean 2 times with clean cotton cloth

  11. Guide - Sealing the Mould with Chemlease 15 EZ • Apply 2 layers (wipe on/wipe of)

  12. Guide - Sealing the Mould with Chemlease 15 EZ • Drying time between layers is 15 minutes • Drying time after final layer is 1 hour

  13. Guide - Apply Release Agents Chemlease 2172 • Apply 5 layers with 15 minutes between layer • Drying time after final layer is 1 hour

  14. Guide - Flance Wax 5141 • Apply 1 layer after each de-molding

  15. Guide - Cleaning the male mould • Clean 2 times with Mould Cleaner EZ

  16. Guide - Polishing male mould • Check that the mould is clean

  17. Guide - Clean the mould • Clean 2 times with Mould Cleaner EZ

  18. Guide - Priming the male mould with CL 712EZ • Apply 1 thick layer wipe on and let it dry in 1,5 – 2 hours

  19. Guide - Sealing the Male mould with CL 15 EZ • Apply 2 layers (wipe on/wipe of) • Drying time between layers is 15 minutes

  20. Guide - Sealing the Male mould with CL 15 EZ • Drying time after final layer is 1 hour

  21. Guide - Apply Release agent Chemlease 75 • Apply 4 layers wipe on/of with 15 minutes between layers • Drying time after final layer is 1 hour

  22. Guide - Flance Wax Chemlease 5141 • Apply 1 layer after each de-molding

  23. Test at Danplastas • Test showed improvements against ZYWAX! With ZYWAX system:Styren build-up after 5-10 demouldings. With Chem-Trend system:NO styren build-up after 65 demouldings!!!!
