  2. Introduction A cosmetologist is a person that specializes in beauty and make up. They use many tools and materials like make up, and skin products each day. In the future the products will change and make this so much easier.

  3. What does a cosmetologist do? • A cosmetologist can specialize in many things. Things like make-up, hair, nails, skin care, waxing, and hair removals. There goal is to change and improve their appearance.   4. Tools and materials Cosmetologist use a variety of tools and materials. Some of the materials used are make-up, hot irons, hair brush, hair products, nail products, lotions, and almost anything you can think of that’s used for beauty.

  5. Schooling and training Just like any other job, they need to go through a process of training and schooling. Schooling is about 9 months depending on the school. You have to have either you GED or a high school diploma also a license from the school you attended.

  6. Impact on others Though it might not seem like it, but cosmetologist are an impact on others. They help you look better and possibly even feel better about yourself.

  7. In the future In the future this job could be changed to make things easier and faster. By this I mean they could speed up time and save money by mixing hair products together. And this job would be called the same thing considering there still doing the same exact thing.

  8. Extra schooling and training For this to happen people would have to go to the same yet different schooling. For example the people at the schools would be required to shadow professional cosmetologist. That way they would know how and the amount of the mixed product to use.

  9. Conclusion The job has changed by mixing these products together instead of having to separate hair products. By doing this it saves time and also money

  10. Glossary • GED Means general equivalency diploma. You get it when you graduate high school early. Shadow In this case it mean following a profession at the job your at to learn from them.
