Final Prop. • Evaluation 1 • Team meeting with instructor (time & location determined today) • Scored based on extent to which the initial implementation (build) is complete and ready to test. Scoring is quantified by determining which tests can be run. Given the time, should be able to run test in instructor’s presence. • Evaluated by Instructor for team grade • 25% of winter term grade

  4. More On Evaluation One • Goal: Convince a (skeptical?) instructor that you are reading to run your testing procedures. • Main Criterion: Testing could begin with virtually no additional preparation.

  5. Some Evidence That You Are Ready For Testing • Operational prototype. • Testing tools, instruments, etc. in hand. • Photos, videos of the above. • E-mail confirmation from owners that testing facilities & equipment are available for testing at the times needed. • Document deliverables (e.g., layouts, models) in paper or electronic form. • Copies of testing checklists, questionnaires, etc. in paper or electronic form. • E-mail confirmation that Subject Matter Experts are available for testing at the times needed.

Status Meetings • Status Meeting Schedule: Same as last term but Tuesday meetings move to Monday, Thursday to Wednesday.(Except Status Meeting 4: “Monday” meetings on 1st Wednesday of term, Wednesday Meetings on 2nd Wednesday of term.) • Come to meeting prepared to discuss the following • Status Meeting 4: Implementation plan, design changes, revised team charter (bring copy of charter) • Status Meeting 5: Readiness for Evaluation 1 • Status Meeting 6: Readiness for Evaluation 2
