  2. OPC Data Logger • For most experiments run in DPCL, data is analyzed from graphs. • All process variables shown on the graph – cluttered and difficult to read! • Need better way to collect data and store information for analysis.

  3. OPC Data Logger • This data logger will write DeltaV experimental data to a .csv file. • Selected data is written periodicly • The files can be opened in EXCEL • Data can be graphed and analyzed easily in EXCEL format

  4. Logger Start Up Instructions Follow the screen shots

  5. This is not a DeltaV program; >Start >Programs >Software Toolbox >OPC Data Logger >OPC Data Logger Configuration

  6. Select the “Test Run”

  7. Check Confirm All Then OK

  8. Check this box to keep the program running

  9. The program is now running Data for all experiments should be logging

  10. Short cut to text logs

  11. Log name is the experiment
