  2. About Verified Person • John Sculley, former CEO of Apple, and Tal Moise founded Verified Person in 2004 with the idea that background screenings could be greatly simplified by infusing it with technological sophistication. His vision has been realized through web-based client interfaces that support both pre-hire and ongoing background and criminal screenings, along with a constantly expanding line-up of other services. • This vast array of screening and verification products is currently used by a growing number of Fortune 1000 organizations in healthcare, staffing, financial services, retail and other industries as well as smaller, regional businesses all across the country. • With a management team that possesses a strong track record of building successful businesses based on cutting-edge technology and an ownership group dedicated to the idea of constant technological and procedural advancement, Verified Person is well positioned to maintain its status as a leader in its industry.

Verified Person’s I-9 solution frees customers from the hassle of paperwork associated with manual I-9 verifications while providing instant employment authorization from E-Verify.

  5. Section One: Candidate information is automatically entered into I-9 form. Recruiter completes form and saves or submits for E-Verification.

  9. Section Two: Enter the Employees Hire Date.

  10. The employee’s E-Verify request must be submitted within three business days of hire. If the date of hire exceeds this time frame, the employer must select a reason from the drop down menu. If the employer selects the Other option, a second field will be presented. The employer must provide an explanation.

This is only returned for certain document types at this time (determined by DHS) and for those subjects with photos on file. When photo matching is required, you will be presented with this screen and asked to confirm if the employee’s photo on the provided document matches the photo returned by DHS.

  14. TNC Verification in Process DHS Verification in Process: This response indicates that the noncitizen’s information provided to SSA matches the information contained in SSA records, but did not match DHS’ records. The case is then automatically referred to DHS for further verification. You do not need to take any action at this point. DHS will respond to most of these cases within 24 hours, although some responses may take up to three federal government workdays. You should check the system daily for a response.
