  1. Complications of the Orthopaedic Implants Our analysis of the study of the orthopedic implant company patients in age group 30-35 years. Out of these, there were few patients with 2 % nonunion and fractures in 15 patients were the result of some kind of motor accident. Few orthopedic implant company were of category I, few of categories II and others of grades III, of which one were caused by a gunshot wound. Eighteen fractures also had an associated fibula (calf bone) fracture and 10+ cases were at first treated by closed reduction and further by the introduction of a long-leg cast. Six patients were cured with orthopedic surgical instruments like an external fixator. Also, a fibular ostectomy (the removal of bone) was done in two cases, one after 14 days of injury in a patient with an intact fibula and one after half a year interval in a patient with a transverse middle fracture and an associated fibular fracture which had already amalgamated. Talking about the removal of orthopaedic implants and instruments, 40+ braces were removed during treatment; 11 of the removals were due to progressive angulation (continuous abnormal bend or curve in an organ) and four was due to the loss of corrected shortening. These ortho surgical implants patients were counseled to opt for a maneuver in order to correct their malformation. Few of these patients (those with braces removed) could not again wear their brace due to pain or irritation in already occurred soft tissue wounds and were further treated in below-the-knee functional cast until union had occurred. One patient injured herself while displacing her fracture, and others were incapable to manage on their own the functional brace. These patients were treated using a below-the- knee functional cast until union. After the application of the orthopedic implants manufacturers’ prefabricated brace, 25 patients required management of their fractures. This was performed with the patient extending their leg over the edge of the diagnosis table. The treatment was done under sedation. In these cases, the braces were for the moment removed (approximately for 14 to 40 days) and orthopedic instruments like long-leg casts were applied. Apart from that, fifteen braces were temporarily suspended because of excessive wound drainage. Skin problems developed in 20+ Traumaorthopedic implants in India cases, marked by skin maceration (phenomenon by which ordered tissue is transformed into a whole cell resulting in a spongy structure formation) under the brace: few had scuff over the malleoli (bony projection like hammer tip) and one full-thickness skin loss from stress over a medical pad which had been placed inside the brace. Such cushions are no longer produced by orthopedic implants manufacturers now. Adjustments of braces were performed only in cases where proper fit was a necessary. The only case of infection of the bone in the orthopedic implants patients occurred in an open fracture that went on to develop a blockage in the fracture repair process.
