SY 11-12 CYSS Fee Guidance • Implementation December 1 billing cycle • Changes: • New 2 week fees were sent out in September with an original implementation date of 1 November which changed with guidance to 1 December. • Choice of 2 week or 4 week vacation option annually at re-registration (4 week option requires higher payment – see fee charts.) • Once the choice of 2 or 4 week option is in effect, it cannot be changed until the next re-registration date. • Vacation weeks do not carry over to the next year if they are not used. • There are no refunds for unused vacation. • Leave year is from the registration/re-registration year.

SY 11-12 CYSS Fee Guidance • Changes continued: • Fee application form will be filled out at the time of re-registration. • Upon acceptance of a CYS program space, a non-refundable 10% of the first month’s payment is required. • Late payment fee (beyond 5 business days) is $5 per child. • If payments are delinquent for a period of time, services will be denied unless an approved payment plan is in place. • Late pick-up fees have changed ($1 per minute for the first 15 minutes at each location, $4 per child for the remainder of the hour, then $5 per hour per child if beyond that. (*Late fees do not cover the cost of staff on OT) • All families using on post Military Child Care are required to register with the third party DOD Administrator online for Tax Liability.

SY 11-12 CYSS Fee Guidance • Parent Participation Program: • Patrons can earn participation points for doing volunteer work with CYSS during non-duty hours. • Points would be accumulated and can be used toward a discount on one month’s fee. • Volunteer hours would be in specific areas and validated through program directors. • An SOP is being developed for Picatinny from the guidance received. • The SOP will be distributed to all patrons once it is approved and signed.
