  1. Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy for Acne Scars Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy is used to promote faster healing of soft tissue injuries. The medical community has begun widely using PRP as an alternative to surgery to help in many conditions. Once the blood components are separated, the patient’s own plasma with high concentrations of platelets is injected into the injured area.
