  2. Background Information • Plasma: • Liquid part of your blood that is a yellowish liquid • PRP: • Used to hasten healing of tendon injuries

  3. Steps in PRP Therapy • Blood is taken from the body • Placed in a device called a separator • Use an ultrasound machine to map out the place of the injection • Slowly injected into the previously mapped area.
