  2. Diabetes has become one of the most common health problems in all age kind. People have no age bar for getting Diabetes, these days. There are two kinds of this health problem – type 1 is where the body doesn’t produce insulin and type 2 is where the body produces insulin but doesn’t work properly. Fatigue, weight loss, thirst and increase in urination are some of the symptoms of Diabetes. Sometimes, the symptoms are so bad that bruises, cuts also take a long time to heal. Blurred visions and increased blood pressure levels are also a part of the same. But, there are many natural home remedies for diabetesthat can control your blood sugar levels.

  3. Top Home Remedies For Diabetes and Health Benefits 1. Bitter Gourd Bitter gourd is a great ingredient that helps you control diabetes and reduces the blood glucose that is present in your body . It helps the glucose get inside the body and spread rather than staying in one particular place. It increases insulin in the pancreas and prevents resistance of the insulin. Bitter gourd is helpful for both the types of diabetes. Although that’s the case, it cannot entirely replace insulin’s work. You should be able to follow the treatment for over a month for best results.

It also helps your body by lowering the sugar levels due to the activity called hypoglycemia. Since it is rich in fiber, it helps in slowing down the absorption of sugar and carbs.

  5. 3. Amla Amlais also called as Indian gooseberry which is highly rich in Vitamin C. It helps your body in proper functioning of your pancreas. It is best to grind it into paste, after taking off the seeds from it. Collect the paste in a cloth and squeeze the juice out of it. - Mix 2 spoons of the  juice into one glass of water and drink it every day. - Empty stomach drinking works like a magic and helps in reducing the sugar levels. You could also mix two ingredients like bitter gourd and Amla and drink both of it by mixing with water.

  7. Mango leaves regulate insulin in blood. The lipid profiles in the body can be improved using these leaves. Soaking 10-15 mango leaves in a glass of water and drinking the same the next day can bring in changes in your body immediately. Grinding of these leaves after keeping it under the sun, can also be a good alternative. Powdered mango leaves are also available in the market these days. Have one to two spoons every day after mixing it in water.

  8. 5. Cinnamon Boil 4-5 cinnamon sticks in a cup of water and let it cool for some time. After it cools, drain the cinnamon sticks and drink the water. Cinnamon can also be added in beverages and baked goods.
