  7. Breaks down food we eat. Why do we break down food? To use the nutrients and give us energy Organs: esophagus, stomach, intestines Digestive System

  8. Gets rid of wastes in our body Organs: Kidneys, bladder Excretory System

  9. Endocrine System • Glands- Help to relay messages throughout the body • Secretes hormones
