  1. Progress Report for 4POM To date

  2. Housing Scheme • 23 houses built in earthquake hit Azad Kashmir • 18 houses completed and handed over to families • 5 houses under construction • 8 houses built and handed over to Indonesian earthquake victims • Houses built in Bangladesh following last year’s cyclone

  3. Provision of clean water • 3 clean water supply schemes completed in earthquake hit Azad Kasmir area (2 in Muzzafrabad district and 1 in Rawalakot district) • Helped nearly 9000 people to receive clean drinking water in some of the most remote areas in the world

  4. Orphan support scheme • Have supported 60 orphans financially in Azad Kashmir • Orphans given monthly cash sums to support their education, food and clothing

  5. Medical Missions • 4 medical missions completed in earthquake hit areas of Azad Kashmir since 2005 • 1 medical mission in flood affected Balochistan in 2007

  6. Health Centres/Hospital Project • 2 basic health centres functioning in Azad Kashmir (district Bagh and Rawalakot) • A major hospital project in district Bagh (ongoing)

  7. Current projects in progress • Orphan support scheme. Supporting 20 orphans in Azad Kashmir • Hospital project in district Bagh

  8. Support given to other causes • 4POM has agreed to donate £2000 to cyclone affected victims of Burma • Money not released yet
