  3. Corollary: one of the worst things a person can do is to expect anything less

  4. "I'm dreaming big--because all of heaven is dreaming big.“"Jesus died for our sins. That was the best gift God could give us. But we have something else. Because I want to follow Jesus and do what he ordained, God wants to support us.”“Why would an awesome and mighty God want anything less for his children?"

  5. "For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?"

  6. "Why not gain the whole world plus my soul?"

  7. Prosperity Theology • emphasis is on God's promised generosity in this life and the ability of believers to claim it for themselves • suggests that a God who loves you does not want you to be broke

  8. John 10: 10: "I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."

  9. Malachi 3:10 - "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this,' says the LORD of hosts, 'if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows".

  10. Matthew 25:14-30 - The Parable of the talents esp. “For whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.”

  11. 3 John 2 - "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers".
