What can help you develop your ideas? • Reflect on a time that you have personally struggled? • What have you overcome or accomplished? • Interpret a song that reflects the theme or has personal importance to you • Interpret a moment in history that represents a struggle • Decide if your idea is best interpreted through portraiture, still life, the figure or landscape • Decide if you can set up a photograph, work from observation, or use your imagination (or combo?) • Use a drawing media such as graphite, watercolor, acrylic paint to develop your work
