    22. Sample Scenario With the bed down scenario, we can talk to some of the “position the force” issues. Capt Courageous will need to get with the contracting officer to establish contracts with local vendors for equipment and supplies (I.e. forklifts, flatbeds, GP vehicles, fuel, water, building materials, etc..) He will need to get with the CE officer to discuss the plan for personal and aircraft bed down and work both simultaneously. He will have to get with the TALCE to help coordinate airlift into the base and assist with download of cargo from the aircraft to a staging area. Capt Courageous will now have to get it from the staging area to his flight line mx area that he establishes. Capt Courageous will need to establishes comm with his supporting A-4/AFFOR staff and determine his reporting requirements. He’ll need to establish his reach back (make contact with the MAJCOM RSS that is servicing his theater) There’s more, but we can begin with these… With the bed down scenario, we can talk to some of the “position the force” issues.
