  2. Setting The story takes place in a house in Santa Clara Valley California and Alaska.

  3. Characters Buck is the main character (he's a dog). He is a white dog. He is very friendly, and cute dog. He is white and light brown on his paws.

  4. Plot: Conflict Buck (the dog) got stolen from his home and taken to Alaskan gold fields to be a sled dog. Buck is stolen by Manuel and sold to the man in the red sweater.

  5. Plot: Resolution Buck get passed on from owner to owner until he finds a nice owner named John Thornton. He is a really nice person to buck the other owners would just ignore Buck (they are so mean).

  6. My Opinion I really like the book, it was sad when Buck was taken from his home but when he found a new nice owner that light my day right up. I love The call of the Wild because it is like an action book. I recommend this book you should read it.
