  5. Homecoming Dance Buy your Dance Tickets Starting Today! The Girls Softball Team will be selling tickets to the Homecoming Dance during lunches. Tickets are $5.00. Tickets will NOT be sold at the dance.

  6. Homecoming T-shirts T-shirts are Here!! Pick up your t-shirts during your lunch! There are a few extra t-shirts available you are interested.

  9. Respect Your Campus Please use trash cans etc. to help keep campus clean this week and throughout the school year. Every little bit will help. Thanks for pitching in!

  10. Wear a “Halloween Costume” to the Homecoming game Here are the restrictions: Avoid masks if possible, and be prepared to remove them if worn. No weapons No revealing costumes, see the handbook for the dress code guidelines. No togas. No poor taste!!  Let's see some bleacher creatures!

  11. HERMANTOWN VOLLEYBALLVS. VIRGINIA ON OCTOBER 7th • “Dig Pink” night October 7th against Virginia in support of Breast Cancer Research. • Help raise funds for research in the fight against breast cancer: • Pancake breakfast at Applebee’s on October 5th (buy tickets in advance from any volleyball player, $10) • Unlimited appetizers with a $5 donation at Skyline Lanes on October 7th before the match • Buffalo Wild Wings will donate 10% of your bill to the Side Out Foundation on October 7th (get a coupon from a volleyball player) • There will be a 50/50 raffle the night of the match. • Also, buy a pink bracelet or bandana during lunch for only $2, or a T-shirt for $10. • If you wear pink to the game that night you’ll get in for only $1!

  12. Attention!! Coming into school today and last Friday you should of noticed that HHS is decorated for Homecoming! Student Council spent long hours decorating so please be respectful and do not tear down or ruin any of the paintings on the windows. If you want to fix any decorations or find any in the hall please return them to Mrs. Arro.  Thanks for your cooperation and have a fun week! Don't forget to dress up each day! The class with the most spirit points will receive dilly bars next Monday at the end of 7th hour!!

  13. The Incredible Exchange…an Incredible Youth Opportunity!  It gives youth – ages 12 to 15 - a chance to trade time and energy for FUN activities such as music or dance lessons, skiing, gymnastics, golf or horseback riding. The 2013-14 winter session will run from December through April.  Applications for The Incredible Exchange are available.  You can apply ON-LINE by going to: www.stlouiscountymn.gov/incredibleexchange.  Or you can pick up a paper application in the counseling office.  Applications are due by October 31 at 4:30 pm.  For more information, call 733-2876.

  14. Attention Juniors Juniors: Remember that the deadline to sign up for the PSAT test is Friday, October 11th.  Cost is $15.  See Mrs. Riddle in the Counseling Office to get registered. PSAT Testing

  15. Pictures are in! Pick up your pictures and id cards during lunch on Thursday and Friday outside the main office. Retakes will be on October 25th.

  16. JV Knowledge Bowl Practice after school on Today and Friday in room 223 after school at 2:45pm 

  17. Change of Exits Students...when exiting the building, please use the choir doors or the main entrance.  The band room door has been set up with a card reader and an alarm that goes off if the door is held open.  This has been done for the safety and security of the school.
