Naming Criteria • Follows Board policy CW LOCAL. • Buildings serving kindergarten – 8th: • In memory of a person who has served the District or community • In memory of any person who has made a significant contribution to society or education • A local residential or geographic area • A district property donor or his or her family members

Naming Criteria • Follows Board policy CW LOCAL. • Buildings serving kindergarten – 8th: • In memory of a person who has served the District or community • In memory of any person who has made a significant contribution to society or education • A local residential or geographic area • A district property donor or his or her family members

  7. Community Input • Received 53 name submissions. • 26 names met the criteria established in Local Policy CW.

  8. Review Process • Internal committee convened to review name submissions and determine eligibility. • Board Policy states the committee will submit one recommended name that meets the criteria to the Board. • A list of qualified names are included for your review.

  9. Recommendation • Based on the feedback from community recommendations, the committee brings the following name to the Board for consideration: Lizzie Curtis Elementary School
