What is a WebQuest? • A WebQuest is an inquiry-oriented activity in which most or all of the information used by learners is drawn from the Web.(Dodge, B. 1998) • A WebQuest is a form of Problem-based learning where the learning is anchored to a problem that will provide stimulus for the students learning(Savery & Duffy, 1995)

  3. What is a WebQuest cont. • A WebQuest is an activity where the students will search for specific pre-selected resources online for information. The resources are carefully selected by the instructor to best support the learning. • A WebQuest can be constructed as a paper-based handout, an actual web site, a series of web pages provided to students on disk, or as a PowerPoint presentation.
