  2. Rainforest facts! • 2% of the hole world is rainforest • 10 million plants and animals are from the rainforest • 80% of the worlds food is form there • The rainforest is where we found out about alot of plants • The rainforest`s trees are worth alot of money

  3. Toucan! • A toucan lives in hallow trees • He eats small fruit and insects • A toucanis a black bird with a yellow bellyand with a funny coloured beak • He lays white glossy eggs • A toucan lives in the canopy layer • He is very noisey

  4. Red eyed tree frog • The red eyed tree frog is a carnivore so they mostly eat insets and smaller frogs • They live low near ponds so there near tad poles to eat • It paralyzes its enemy with its eyes when it gets close so it has a few seconds to get away • The male can grow up to 2 inches and the female up to 3 • They have a white belly orange feet

  5. okapi • A okapilives in the understory on river beds • He is a vegetarian eats leaves, buds ,twigs and fruits • A okapi has great camouflage • He is used to make leather items goods and accessories.

  6. yanomamo tribe • In the yanomamo there is a head man. The head man decides there friends with other tribes. • There are 3 jobs in this tribe miner woodman and a farmer. • The woman weave flat baskets (its easier for them to carry when there flat) • They die there cloths with berries.

  7. Liana • Lianas link trees together. • Animals swing on those type vines. • They protect the tree that they are growing up form wind or storms. • Lianas grow up one tree then when they reach the canopy they move to another tree • They grow up to 650ft • They are used to make baskets ropes and furniture.

  8. Raffles • Biggest fowler in the world. • They are rare • They have no leaves and no roots. • It feeds on insets. • It smells of rotting meet this attracts flies • It only lasts a week before it rots away.

  9. Fig Tree • It uses another tree to reach the sunlight • It wraps around the old tree until it dies • It is very slow to grow • It is 148 meters tall (this is the kind of tree That the toucan would Live in)
