The TINA Advantage Open standards based Application Server Architecture • Infitel was looking for a new, better way to implement a Telco Application Server • Should be based on open standards • Should be based on experiences with IN and Telecommunication services • Should use OO techniques and support distributed solutions • Should allow implementation of real-time and fault tolerant behaviour • We are glad to see that TINA concepts continue to „live“ in 3G, Parlay and OMG work
