Top 1 will be twice to beat in the finals, otherwise it will be just a knock out game. • 3 teams – Top 1 v Top 2 for the finals. Top 3 automatic 3rd place.

  15. www.sjhfbl.com Incentives for undefeated team on double round elimination or more • 3 teams in division – twice to beat in finals • 4 – 5 teams in division – twice to beat in semis only • 7 teams in division – will advance to semi finals • 8 teams or more – twice to beat in QF only

Season Break: Modification in team line up Senior Division & Div C 20 only. • New player – adding new player (no current team); may be added to the line up by eliminating any current player in the team to make a total of 15 or 12 players in the team. Must be approved by the Commissioner. €50 fee will also be charge (for each player). • Swapping of players between teams (same division) - Must be approved by the Commissioner. €50 fee will also be charge (for each player). • Downgrading of players (Players in higher division who wishes to play in lower division – for senior division only) - Should complete a Transfer form. €50 fee will also be charge (for each player). Outstanding in the registration fee should be completed prior to this application.

  17. www.sjhfbl.com Cup League (Tentative) • Cup League DMBB: Division D & C, if DMBB will allow us • SJH Cup: Premier, A and B 2 Cups –1st cup; Top Team (50%) in Div A & B. 2nd Cup; Bottom team (50%) in Div A & B. • All team must have settled their registration fee outstanding enable to have a Cup League; by October 2011

  18. www.sjhfbl.com Cash Prices – if required • Champion €500 • 1st Runner up €400 • 2nd Runner up €300 • 3rd Runner up €200 ----------------------- €1400 • Will be divided by the number of team registered and it is per division decision. • 75% should agreed, on or before 31/7/11 by email. • We will not disclose who’s team agreed nor disagreed.

  19. www.sjhfbl.com Aggregate System – this is a cumulative score of a team in their 2 games against the same opponent. If team A wins over team B of 5 points on their first encounter on a REGULAR TIME. Team B should win by 6 points on their second game also in a REGULAR TIME to qualify to the next level. If team B won by 5 points on the REGULAR TIME. Both teams will continue playing in Overtime Period. The team that will win in the OT regardless of what point difference will advance on the next round. On the other hand, there is no need to extend the game in overtime period if both team had the same score in their second game on a Regular Time.

  22. www.sjhfbl.com DIVISION D9 • All games to consist of 4 quarters. 6 minutes per quarter on a stopped clock. • Extra time will be 3 minutes. • No time out on the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd quarter and only 1 one time out will be allowed in the 4th quarter. • Size 5 basketball. • No full court defence (defensive players must wait to the half way line) and on any inbound (Defensive players must wait until the offensive player handle the ball. However, defence may carry on if the ball receiver is inside the key) in the 1st, 2nd & 3rd quarter. • No zone defence. Coaches are encouraged to play man-to-man defence only to ensure proper technical development of young players. • There is no 24 second clock, but there is a backcourt rule and a 3 second call. • One quarter rule applies.

  28. www.sjhfbl.com League Council Composed of 2 representatives from each division and 1 speaker. They will represents their respective division in one full season.

  29. www.sjhfbl.com League Council Improve the standard of Filipino basketball in Ireland.To unite all Filipino in Ireland thru basketball. To work with the organizers on how to assess, plan, intervene & evaluate, to further advance the tournament.Promote the fine Filipino culture & language to the new generation of Filipino in Ireland. To facilitate fund raising program, medical & dental mission, or other outreach program to aid the less fortunate Filipinos in the Philippines. To act as a disciplinary committee in event there will be player(s), coaches(s) or team(s) who wishes to appeal on the penalty awarded by the league.
