Information • Course: Econ 430 Asian Economies • Credit: 3 (designed for business students but not limited to) • Fulfill the Global-Multicultural Requirement for University Studies • Time: May 11 – 26, 2008 • Pre-departure meeting dates: • April 8 (T) 7:00-9:00pm • May 8 (Th) 1:00-5:00pm • Course Website: http://course1.winona.edu/wyu/teaching/08SuEcon430.html • For details, see syllabus on the course website

  12. Grade • Data Analysis – 10% • Due April 18 • Group Presentation – 20% • May 8 • Daily Travel Journal Entries – 20% • Final Report – 25% • Due June 3 • Participation – 25%

Cost • Cost: $3,700 (include airfare, transportation, lodging, food, tuition, insurance, other expenses) • If you want to go shopping, you should prepare your personal spending • Financial Aid is Available! • Student loan will be able to cover the entire cost • Make an appointment with Mari Livingston (mlivingston@winona.edu) at WSU financial aid office

  14. Application • Fill out the application form and email/submit to William Yu (wyu@winona.edu) • By December 15, 2007 • Admissions are based on First Come First basis, so apply it ASAP! If students apply on the same day, priority will be based on the number of Econ/Finance courses you have taken. • Deadline for non-refundable deposit $500 is January 28, 2008.
