In-situ, reference quality, multi-variable atmospheric profiling for climate studies with miniaturized-sensor package on variety platforms • Goal: Develop a miniaturized sensor package deployable on weather balloons, aircrafts, stratospheric balloons, UAVs and other platforms to measure pressure, temperature, humidity, 3-D wind, ozone, cloud, aerosol and other variables from the surface to the lower stratosphere. • Uniqueness: reference-quality, integration, miniaturization, flexibility • EOL strengths/weaknesses • Potential science/facility priorities • First steps • Connections with EOL Strategic Frontiers
