  3. Who else has a passion for mission? Who are the key people to influence the congregation? ASSESS THE SITUATION • Look for allies. • Congregation Leaders • Pastor • Mission Committee • Elders • Movers & Shakers

  4. STRATEGIES # 1 Pray for God’s Leading • Find prayer partners. • Covenant to pray daily to become a missional church.

  5. # 2 Approach Your Pastor STRATEGIES • Volunteer • Ask what his or her vision for mission is. • Share your vision for missions • Invite to a mission conference • Worldwide Ministries Division • World Mission Initiative • New Wilmington Missionary Conference

  6. Approach Your Pastor (cont.) STRATEGIES • Invite on a mission trip • Express how well it is going for another church which is mission oriented. • Ask allies to approach pastor
