What if your child misses class? • See his/her teacher for missed notes, classwork, and homework. • Homework can also be printed from myhomeworkapp.com • Students should set up appointment with teacher for Resource or after school to go over missed notes. If a QUIZ or TEST is missed, expected to make up during Resource or after school by the next block.

Homework Expectations • Homework assigned each day; can be found in agenda and on myhomeworkapp.com. • No calculators allowed unless indicated on assignment. • If homework is completed, have child study or use the ALEKS website (found on LCPSGo) • Homework is expected to be turned in, even if late. • Can check ParentVue or contact teacher for missing assignments.
Helpful Websites • IXL – 10 free problems per day with no subscription • Khan Academy – Video tutorials • Jefferson Labs – SOL practice • Math Play – game oriented • Sheppard Software – review basic skills • Multiplication.com
How can you help? • Help child complete homework (no IDK) • Check completed homework • Contact teacher if you see struggles at home. • Drill basic math facts (i.e. multiplication tables) • Check agenda and myhomeworkapp.com Reinforce areas in need of improvement.
