  2. Racial segregation was the separation of the races, mainly whites and blacks in daily life. For example: black and white people had to eat in separate restaurants go to separate cinemas attend separate schools, and there were even certain areas that only whites could live in and areas that blacks had to live in. They also had different forms of transportation.

  3. Certain punishments that were given to black people were also quite harsh. For instance, if a black man was accused of rape, he would be lynched. Whipped Tarred and Feathered
